Yes, it's a tired old story, one you've heard many times... the rumors about the Chargers getting lured away to Los Angeles because they can't get a new stadium in San Diego. The rumors continue; today's Union-Tribune features yet another article hinting at such a move.
As always, the Chargers doth protest too much (through mouthpiece Mark Fabiani), reaffirming that their intentions are to remain in San Diego. But their contract with the City of San Diego now allows them a 3-month period every year during which they are completely free to break their lease and move to another city. Clearly, if they don't get a new stadium in San Diego, they will eventually exercise that option. It's just a question of when.

What a Rollercoaster Ride
So we've never won in Pittsburgh, yea, I get it. But last night's game was an embarassment. Not only did we not show up until the 4th quarter, but, again we find ourselves at 2-2 while the donkeys are playing very well.
Atmosphere in MJ's was optimistic and the Chargers gave us a good run for our money towards to end. It felt like a playoff game almost. Either way, we ended up with a LOSS and now we have time off until Monday night vs. the Donkeys.
Planning for the November 8 weekend festivities already. Things are coming together! If you would like to join our tailgate, send us your name, phone number and number in your party to chargersfansinnewyorkcity@gmail.com!
GO BOLTS!
